Classic Egypt, the Red Sea, and the Desert

Itinerary

Arrival at Cairo Airport where our staff will be waiting to process your visa and transfer you to the selected hotel.
Check-in at the hotel and accommodation.

Day 2 :
CAIRO

Breakfast. Visit the famous Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure, the impressive Sphinx carved out of rock, and the Papyrus Institute where the traditional crafting method will be demonstrated.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Visit Sakkara and Memphis, then return to the hotel.

Departure from Cairo, approximately a 3-hour drive to the Bahariya Oasis.
Picnic lunch among the lakes of the oasis, visit the colored mountains and star dunes, enjoy the sunset with Bedouin tea, dinner, and accommodation at the camp.

After breakfast, departure in a 4x4 jeep to the Black Desert, Hayz Oasis, sulfur thermal spring, Crystal Mountain, Aqqabat area, picnic lunch, White Desert National Park, sunset among the white rocks, and return to Cairo.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Departure from the hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Aswan.
Arrival in Aswan and transfer to the chosen cruise ship.
Departure from the ship for a visit to the Temple of Philae, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. In the afternoon, sail on the Nile in a felucca, with an optional excursion to the Nubian village.

Early morning departure from the ship to visit the Abu Simbel temples of the famous Ramses II and his beloved Nefertari. Return to Aswan.
In the afternoon, the ship sails towards Kom Ombo. Upon arrival, visit the two temples dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus.

Arrival in Edfu and visit the Temple of Horus, represented by a falcon. The temple was partially covered by silt during the Nile’s periodic floods and has been restored to reveal one of the most well-preserved Ptolemaic temples.
Sail to Luxor.
In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Karnak and the Temple of Luxor.

Morning visit to the Valley of the Kings, where you will see the tombs of prominent pharaohs such as Ramses III, Seti I, and Amenhotep II.
Also visit the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Amenhotep III, and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Transfer to Hurghada, arrival, and accommodation at the hotel.

Day 9 :
HURGHADA

Breakfast. Optional excursion to Giftun Island.

Day 10 :
HURGHADA

Breakfast. Optional desert safari excursion. Return to the hotel.

Breakfast. Afternoon departure from the hotel to take a flight back to Cairo.
Arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 12 :
CAIRO

Breakfast. City tour visiting the Museum of Pharaonic Art, the Alabaster Mosque located in the Citadel of Saladin, and the Coptic Quarter with its ancient churches.
Lunch.
Visit the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, transfer to the airport, and end of services.

  • Visit to Abu Simbel temples
  • Private English-speaking guides throughout the tour
